TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
BATTERY VOLTAGE GAUGE READS LOW
STEP 1
Does engine crank?
NOTE
Engine will not start if batteries are drained or not charged to adequate level. Battery voltage
gauge may not be faulty. This test aides in troubleshooting isolation.
Attempt to start engine. (TM 5-3825-270-10)
CONDITION/INDICATION
Does engine crank?
DECISION
Yes - Go to step 2. (Step 2 - Does BATTERY VOLTAGE gauge read 26 to 28 VDC with engine running?)
STEP 2
Does BATTERY VOLTAGE gauge read 26 to 28 VDC with engine running?
NOTE
Normal operating voltage is 26 to 28 VDC.
