COMPRESSOR FAILS TO LOAD WHEN SERVICE AIR SWITCH IS PRESSED - PAC
SYMPTOM
Engine starts, but compressor will not.
MALFUNCTION
Proper compressor operating procedures not used.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Review proper compressor operating procedures (Volume 1, WP 0059).
2.
Start engine and attempt to start compressor (Volume 1, WP 0059).
a.
If proper operating procedures were not used previously, but compressor now starts,
problem solved.
b.
If proper operating procedures are used and compressor continues to not start, proceed to
next Malfunction - Compressor fault code present.
MALFUNCTION
Compressor fault code present.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check for compressor fault code(s) (WP 0178).
a.
If compressor fault code(s) are present, follow instructions given in compressor fault code
table (WP 0178).
b.
If compressor fault code(s) are not present, proceed to next Malfunction - Engine rpm too
low for compressor operation.
