ENGINE RPM LOW - PAC
SYMPTOM
Engine rpm less than 1,200 rpm during warm-up or normal operation.
MALFUNCTION
Air filter(s) dirty or restricted.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if air filters (Figure 1) are dirty or restricted (WP 0214).

a.
If dirty, clean air filter(s) (WP 0214). Start engine and verify engine rpm returns to normal
(Volume 1, WP 0059).
b.
If restricted, remove restriction. Start engine and verify engine rpm returns to normal
(Volume 1, WP 0059).
c.
If air filters are not dirty or restricted, proceed to next Malfunction - Engine fault code
present.
