MALFUNCTION
Engine RPM too low.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Following a successful engine start, engine rpm will accelerate to 1,200 rpm
initially, then 1,600 rpm for warm-up.
1.
If shut down, start engine (Volume 1, WP 0059).
2.
Visually inspect ENGINE SPEED gauge and verify if engine is running at 1,200 rpm or greater
(Figure 1).

If engine speed at less than 1,200 rpm, shut down engine (Volume 1, WP 0059) and
proceed to Engine RPM Low troubleshooting procedure (WP 0190).
b.
If engine speed is 1,200 rpm or greater, shut down engine (Volume 1, WP 0059) and
notify maintenance.
