COMPRESSOR UNIT SHUTS DOWN UNEXPECTEDLY - PAC - Continued
CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
a.
If HIGH COMPRESSOR TEMPERATURE fault indicator illuminates at failure, proceed to
next Malfunction - Compressor oil level low.
b.
If HIGH COMPRESSOR TEMPERATURE fault indicator does not illuminate at failure,
proceed to Malfunction - Low engine oil pressure or high engine coolant temperature fault
indicator illuminated.
MALFUNCTION
Compressor oil level low.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Shut down engine (Volume 1, WP 0059).
2.
Check compressor oil level (WP 0201) (Figure 6).

a.
If compressor oil level is low, add compressor oil until proper level is achieved (WP 0217).
Start engine and verify if PAC continues to run (Volume 1, WP 0059). If problem persists,
notify maintenance.
b.
If compressor oil level is within specification, proceed to next Malfunction - Compressor
enclosure doors open.
MALFUNCTION
Compressor enclosure doors open.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Cooling airflow path (vacuum) is reduced when compressor enclosure doors are
open and may result in overheating.
