MALFUNCTION
Engine rpm too low for compressor operation.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Following a successful engine start, engine rpm will accelerate to 1,200 rpm
initially, then 1,600 rpm for warm-up.
1.
Visually inspect ENGINE SPEED gauge and verify engine is running at 1,200 rpm or greater
(Figure 1).

Shut down engine (Volume 1, WP 0059).
a.
If engine speed is less than 1,200 rpm, proceed to Engine RPM Low troubleshooting
procedure (WP 0190).
b.
If engine speed is 1,200 rpm or greater but compressor continues to not start, notify
maintenance.
