ENGINE HAS HIGH TEMPERATURE - PAC - Continued
MALFUNCTION
Out of level condition.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
PAC should not be parked on unlevel ground where slope is greater than 15
degrees in any direction.
Verify if PAC is parked on unlevel ground at an angle greater than 15 degrees in all directions.
a.
If parked at an angle greater than 15 degrees, reposition PAC on level ground and verify
angle is less than 15 degrees in all directions. Start engine and verify if engine operating
temperature returns to normal (Volume 1, WP 0059).
b.
If parked at an angle less than 15 degrees in all directions, proceed to next Malfunction -
Dirty operating conditions.
MALFUNCTION
Dirty operating conditions.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if PAC is operating where air is saturated with dirt, dust, sand, or other airborne particles.
a.
If operating in saturated environment, move PAC to less saturated environment or wait
until air is less saturated with dirt, dust, or other airborne particles.
b.
If PAC is operating where air quality is normal, proceed to next Malfunction - PAC
enclosure doors open.
MALFUNCTION
PAC enclosure doors open.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Cooling airflow path (vacuum) is reduced when compressor enclosure doors are
open and may result in overheating or high discharge temperature.
Verify if PAC enclosure doors are open (when in use) (Figure 1).
