SYMPTOM
Main 18K winch (jib) does not operate properly.
MALFUNCTION
Vehicle not in RIG MODE.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify vehicle is in RIG MODE (Volume 1, WP 0017).
a.
If vehicle is not in RIG MODE, put vehicle in RIG MODE (Volume 1, WP 0017). Verify if
main 18K winch (jib) operates properly (Volume 1, WP 0019).
b.
If vehicle is in RIG MODE, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Main 18K winch (jib) failure.
MALFUNCTION
Main 18K winch (jib) failure.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Verify main 18K winch (jib) is not overloaded.
2.
Verify main 18K winch (jib) cable is not tangled with auxiliary winch.
3.
Verify main 18K winch (jib) does not have any oil leaks.
a.
If main 18K winch (jib) is overloaded, reduce load.
b.
If main 18K winch (jib) cable is tangled with auxiliary winch cable, untangle cable.
c.
If main 18K winch (jib) has oil leaks, notify maintenance.
d.
If main 18K winch (jib) is not overloaded, is not tangled with auxiliary winch cable, and
does not have oil leaks, notify maintenance.
