SYMPTOM
Auxiliary winch does not operate properly.
MALFUNCTION
Vehicle not in RIG MODE.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if vehicle is in RIG MODE (Volume 1, WP 0017).
a.
If vehicle is in RIG MODE, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Auxiliary winch failure.
b.
If vehicle is not in RIG MODE, put vehicle in RIG MODE (Volume 1, WP 0017).
MALFUNCTION
Auxiliary winch failure.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Verify auxiliary winch is not overloaded.
2.
Verify auxiliary winch cable is not tangled with main winch (18K).
3.
Verify auxiliary winch does not have any oil leaks.
a.
If auxiliary winch is overloaded, reduce load.
b.
If auxiliary winch cable is tangled with main winch (18K) cable, untangle cable.
c.
If auxiliary winch has oil leaks, notify maintenance.
d.
If auxiliary winch is not overloaded, is not tangled with main winch (18K) cable, and does
not have oil leaks, notify maintenance.
