MUD CLEANING SYSTEM SHUTDOWN
1.
Continue to run mud cleaning system until no sand is discharged at desander cones prior to shutdown.
2.
Check that sand content is less than 1/2 of a percent before shutdown.
3.
Push mud pump throttle (Figure 5, Item 5) in to stop mud pump.

Turn P/U PUMP lever (Figure 5, Item 3) to OFF position.
5.
Turn DESANDER lever (Figure 5, Item 2) to OFF position.
6.
Turn SYSTEM RUN/ENGINE START lever (Figure 5, Item 4) to ENGINE START position.
7.
Decrease engine speed (Figure 5, Item 1) to idle, approximately 850 rpm.
8.
Shut down Mud Cleaning System engine (WP 0050).
