MUD CLEANING SYSTEM OPERATION - Continued
WARNING
Do not operate the desander pump with protective cowling off, or make adjustments on the
desander pump while in operation. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
Pick up pump (sand guzzler) and shaker will start and run together.
Do not make any adjustments to shaker flow control unless needed for maintenance.

Turn P/U PUMP lever (Figure 4, Item 1) to ON position.

Slowly turn mud PUMP knob (Figure 4, Item 2) left to increase rpm to required mud flow.
