WELDER OPERATION PROCEDURE
WARNING
The Water Well Drilling System presents numerous falling hazards. Use care when
working on top of equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to

Improper grounding of the Water Well Support Vehicle (WWSV) is a safety hazard.
Serious electrical shock or death by electrocution may result. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.

Rotate weld process selector switch (Figure 2, Item 1) to desired welding position.

CAUTION
Do not move weld amperage range switches while actively welding. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.

Rotate course range switch (Figure 2, Item 2) to appropriate weld amperage range when weld process
selector switch is in STICK or TIG position, or voltage range when weld process selector switch (Figure 2,
Item 1) is in WIRE position.
