NOTE
Fine control may be adjusted while welding.
3.
Rotate fine control switch (Figure 2, Item 3) to appropriate amperage setting as indicated by the course
range switch.
4.
Start welder/generator engine.
5.
Rotate engine control switch (Figure 2, Item 5) to RUN/IDLE or RUN position.
6.
Set RUN/IDLE/IDLE LOCK switch (Figure 2, Item 4) to RUN/IDLE position.

GENERATOR OPERATION
WARNING
The Water Well Drilling System presents numerous falling hazards. Use care when
working on top of equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
Improper grounding of the Water Well Support Vehicle (WWSV) is a safety hazard.
Serious electrical shock or death by electrocution may result. Failure to comply
may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
If unit does not have Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacles, use
GFCI-protected extension cord. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
CAUTION
Ensure equipment is disconnected from auxiliary power receptacles during startup and
shutdown. Some equipment can be adversely affected by changes in frequency as engine
rpm changes during startup and shutdown. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
1.
Disconnect all equipment from welder/generator, if required.
2.
Start welder/generator engine.
3.
Rotate engine control switch (Figure 3, Item 3) to RUN position.
