Attach 8-ft nylon web sling (Figure 22, Item 4) to end of drill rod (Figure 22, Item 2).

With aid of an assistant, push main winch control (Figure 22, Item 1) forward to raise upper drill rod
(Figure 22, Item 2).
15.
Install bottom end cap (Figure 22, Item 3) to upper drill rod (Figure 22, Item 2).
16.
With aid of an assistant, push JIB ROTATE/RAISE/LOWER control (Figure 22, Item 5) forward to raise
upper drill rod (Figure 22, Item 2).
