Make sure drill rod threaded end is not in contact with base of automated rod handling arm.
Drill rod bottom could whip and swing out. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Push PIPE CLAMP RELEASE ENABLE button (Figure 5, Item 6) and hold CLAMP switch (Figure 5, Item 4)
in down position to release clamps (Figure 5, Item 2).

Set and hold TOP SLIDE switch (Figure 5, Item 5) to left position to move tophead (Figure 5, Item 1) with
drill rod (Figure 5, Item 3) to center position.
