WARNING
Make sure drill rod is fully locked into tophead. Drill rod could come loose and fall. Failure
to comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of
an injury.
NOTE
Drill rod should lift slightly off base as it is engaged by tophead spindle.
11.
Pull ROTATION control (Figure 3, Item 9) back to attach tophead (Figure 3, Item 2) to drill rod
(Figure 3, Item 5) until ROTATION PRESSURE gauge (Figure 3, Item 1) reads 2,100 psi (145 bar).
12.
Disengage tophead mounted wrench (Figure 4, Item 1) by removing foot from foot switch (Figure 4, Item 2).
