DRILL ROD STORAGE CARTRIDGE UNLOADING - Continued
WARNING
Drill rod weighs approximately 250 lb (113 kg). Do not try to lift or move drill rod
without the aid of suitable lifting device. Failure to comply may result in injury or

Ensure vehicles are in safe operating distance from each other to perform task
with WWSV truck mounted crane. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Connect drill pipe casing sling (Figure 9, Item 1) to WWSV truck mounted crane hook (Figure 9, Item 2)

Connect drill pipe casing sling hook (Figure 9, Item 4) to drill rod (Figure 9, Item 3).
8.
Connect drill pipe casing sling hook (Figure 9, Item 9) to drill rod (Figure 9, Item 3).
9.
If required, lift drill rod (Figure 9, Item 3) and install nylon web slings (tag lines) (Figure 9, Items 5 and 7) to
drill rod (Figure 9, Item 3).
