Set and hold PIPE POSITIONING ARM ELEVATION switch (Figure 5, Item 5) to LOWER position until
automated rod handling arm (Figure 5, Item 2) is in fully down position.

With aid of assistant, set CLAMP switch (Figure 5, Item 6) to up position to lock clamps (Figure 5, Item 3) on
drill rod (Figure 5, Item 4).

Turn console power switch (Figure 5, Item 1) to OFF position.
