Set CONSOLE POWER switch (Figure 8, Item 1) to ON position.

Set CLAMP switch (Figure 8, Item 6) to down position to unlock clamps (Figure 8, Item 3) from drill rod
(Figure 8, Item 4).
NOTE
When unloading drill rod, empty center drill rod storage cartridge first.
5.
Set and hold PIPE POSITIONING ARM ELEVATION switch (Figure 8, Item 5) to RAISE position until
automated rod handling arm (Figure 8, Item 2) is in fully upright position.
