WARNING
Do not let untrained personnel operate the crane. Only qualified personnel who have
received the necessary training should operate the crane. Crane operators must obey the
safety precautions that follow:
All overhead wire must be considered to be an energized line. Maintain a safe

Never operate the crane unless the truck and crane are positioned on a level
surface, the downriggers are set, tires are off the ground, vehicle is level and the

Always make sure the load is rated for the lifting capacity of the crane as shown on
the load capacity chart before making a lift. Failure to comply may result in injury or

extending the boom. This can cause the load to fall or the cable to break. Failure to

Never allow personnel to ride the load, sling, or hook. Failure to comply may result

Always stay clear of the downriggers during crane operation. Failure to comply

Do not allow unauthorized personnel or equipment within 10 ft (3 M) of the crane
