DRILL ROD STORAGE CARTRIDGE LOADING - Continued
WARNING
Drill rod weighs approximately 250 lb (113 kg). Do not try to lift or move drill rod
without the aid of suitable lifting device. Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
Ensure vehicles are in safe operating distance from each other to perform task
with WWSV truck mounted crane. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Connect drill pipe casing sling (Figure 3, Item 1) to Water Well Support Vehicle (WWSV) truck mounted
crane hook (Figure 3, Item 2) (WP 0034).

Ensure thread protectors are removed from drill rods.

Connect drill pipe casing sling hook (Figure 3, Item 3) to drill rod (Figure 3, Item 6).

Connect drill pipe casing sling hook (Figure 3, Item 4) to drill rod (Figure 3, Item 6).
