WWDR FRONT BUMPER WINCH OPERATION - Continued
NOTE
If required, winch cable can be payed out by hand provided clutch on winch is
disconnected. If required, perform Step 2 to pay out cable by hand. If paying out cable
using joystick proceed to Step 5.

Pull up clutch handle (Figure 3, Item 1) and set winch to DISENGAGE position.

WARNING
Always wear gloves when handling winch cables. Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

With aid of an assistant, pay out by hand sufficient winch cable (Figure 3, Item 4) to disconnect cable hook
(Figure 3, Item 3) from winch mounting frame (Figure 3, Item 2).
4.
Set winch clutch handle (Figure 3, Item 1) to ENGAGE position to operate winch.
