Set AIR STANDPIPE switch (Figure 1, Item 9) up to provide air to tophead.
WARNING
During hammer drilling operations, operators shall not stand on the drill operator s platform
for more than 1 hour, per operator, per 24 hour period. Operators shall limit contact with
the vibrating platform by not leaning unnecessarily against rails and controls, and should
stand with legs bent when stationary to reduce the effect of vibrational injury to legs.
Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the
event of an injury.
NOTE
The following steps are performed during down-hole hammer drilling only.

Set DHD LUBRICATOR switch (Figure 1, Item 11) to up (I) position. FLOW INDICATOR light
(Figure 1, Item 12) will flash during lubricator assembly operation.
