MANUAL SLING LOADING OF DRILL RODS WWDR
WARNING
Always wear double hearing protection, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and steel toe
shoes during operation of the Water Well Drilling System. Failure to comply may result in
injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
After drilling with a section of drill rod, lift tophead about 12 in. (305 mm) and let drill rod
and fluids circulate at half rotation speed.

Push FAST FEED control lever (Figure 1, Item 1) forward to move tophead (Figure 1, Item 2) up until tooling
joint (Figure 1, Item 4) of lower drill rod (Figure 1, Item 3) is visible.
