Push PARKING BRAKE valve (Figure 5, Item 6) down to release parking brake.
CAUTION
Always use clutch brake when shifting into 1st gear or reverse (R). Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.
3.
Depress clutch pedal (Figure 5, Item 1) fully to disengage clutch and engage clutch brake.
4.
Move Hi-Lo range control handle (Figure 5, Item 4) to down position (L) for transmission low range.
CAUTION
Never slam or jerk shift lever when shifting transmission. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.
Never shift Hi-Lo range control handle while in reverse. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.
5.
Shift transmission into 1st gear using gearshift lever (Figure 5, Item 5).
6.
Release clutch pedal (Figure 5, Item 1) until the clutch starts to engage and release brake pedal
(Figure 5, Item 2) at the same time.
7.
Depress accelerator pedal (Figure 5, Item 3) until engine speed reaches approximately 1,800 rpm.
