Remove rear main seal (Figure 5, Item 5) from rear main seal housing assembly (Figure 5, Item 2) by pressing
out with hand operated arbor press.

WARNING
Prolonged contact with lubricating oil may cause skin rash. Immediately wash skin and
clothing thoroughly and remove saturated clothing that comes in contact with lubricating oil.
Keep area well-ventilated to keep fumes at a minimum. Failure to comply may result in injury
or death to personnel.
1.
Lightly coat outer mounting surface of rear main seal (Figure 6, Item 5) with clean oil.
