Press rear main seal (Figure 7, Item 5) in rear main seal housing (Figure 7, Item 6) with hand operated arbor
press.
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,
and are harmful to skin and clothing. Keep away from open fire and use in well-ventilated
area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately
with soap and water. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Once sealant has been applied, the rear main seal housing assembly must be installed within
10 minutes. Failure to comply may result in an oil leak and damage to equipment.
4.
Apply sealant to mating surface of rear main seal housing assembly (Figure 8, Item 2).
