The following chart describes battery voltage characteristics when measured with a
multimeter. This chart can be used to further isolate and troubleshoot batteries that may be
cause of problem.

Are water distributor batteries at 70% or more of full charge?
DECISION
No - Service (WP 0082), or replace batteries. (WP 0086) Verify problem is solved. (Step 9 - Is engine crank time
normal during engine starts?)
Yes - Go to step 4. (Step 4 - Does air filter restriction indicator indicate restriction?)

Does air filter restriction indicator indicate restriction?
NOTE
Sight glass on air restriction gauge will be red in color if restriction is present.
Visually inspect air filter restriction indicator.
