TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
LOW OR NO OUTPUT FROM MUD CLEANING DISCHARGE PORT - MCS
SYMPTOM
Low or no output between MCS and Water Well Drilling Rig (WWDR).
MALFUNCTION
MCS control levers not in fully open positions.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify MCS control levers are in fully open positions (Volume 1, WP 0053).
a.
If one or more MCS control levers are not in fully open position, place to fully open
position (Volume 1, WP 0053). Start engine (Volume 1, WP 0050) and verify if output from
MCS is normal (Volume 1, WP 0053).
b.
If MCS control levers are in fully open positions, proceed to next Malfunction - Hose(s)
Restricted.
MALFUNCTION
Hose(s) Restricted.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if hoses are restricted.
a.
If hose(s) are restricted, clear restriction. Start engine (Volume 1, WP 0050) and verify if

b.
If hoses are free of restriction, proceed to next Malfunction - Triplex pump working too
