HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE HIGH - WWDR - Continued
MALFUNCTION
Hydraulic oil cooler(s) excessively dirty and/or restricted.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
WARNING
Do not direct compressed air towards yourself or others. Wear goggles or safety
glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing when working around
compressed air systems or equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
CAUTION
Use low air pressure when cleaning air filter(s) and/or radiator(s). When using
water, use low pressure to clean radiator. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
Visually inspect upper and lower hydraulic oil coolers for excessive dirt and restriction due to
foreign debris (Figure 2).

a.
If excessively dirty, clean with pressurized water. Run hydraulics and verify if hydraulic oil
temperature returns to 180F (82C) or below.

If restricted with foreign debris, remove debris from hydraulic oil cooler(s). Run hydraulics
and verify if hydraulic oil temperature returns to 180F (82C) or below.
c.
If upper and lower hydraulic oil coolers are not excessively dirty or restricted, notify
maintenance.
