Place transmission shift lever (Figure 1, Item 1) of assist vehicle in Neutral.

Pull PARKING BRAKE valve (Figure 1, Item 2) up on assist vehicle to set parking brake.
4.
Shutdown assist vehicle (WP 0012).
WARNING
Do not use damaged slave cable to slave start vehicles. Damaged cable can
cause electrical shock. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
When installing and removing slave cable, ensure loose end of cable does not
come in contact with any metal surfaces or personnel. Failure to comply may result
in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
5.
Remove protective cover (Figure 2, Item 1) from slave receptacle (Figure 2, Item 2) on assist vehicle.
