NOTE
Ensure transfer to storage position is clear and lifting beam is in a position low enough to
allow arm to fully lower to its end of travel.
12.
Set and hold PIPE POSITIONING ARM ELEVATION switch (Figure 11, Item 7) down in LOWER position to
lower automated rod handling arm (Figure 11, Item 3) and drill rod (Figure 11, Item 6).

Set and hold LIFTING BEAM switch (Figure 11, Item 2) in UP position to move lifting beam
(Figure 11, Item 4) up until it comes in contact with drill rod (Figure 11, Item 6).
NOTE
Ensure drill rod is aligned with drill rod storage cartridge.
14.
Push PIPE CLAMP RELEASE ENABLE button (Figure 11, Item 1) and hold PIPE POSITIONING ARM
CLAMP switch (Figure 11, Item 8) in down position to release clamps (Figure 11, Item 5).
15.
Perform WWDR post operation, if required (WP 0029).
