The pump assembly is not equipped with a lifting device.
Three personnel are
required.
When using chains or cables for lifting, position them so that the
load will be balanced and pump assembly is not damaged.

Using a suitable lifting

Align the splined end of
device,
raise pump assembly (5) and position it on
impeller shaft (10) with bore of pilot bushing (13).
Do not put stress on the castings or shaft.
Damage to equipment may result.

Slide pump assembly (5) in place, seating impeller shaft (10) in pilot
bushing (13) and pump drive-in drive coupling (16).
Install twelve new lock washers (8) and bolts (7) securing
to engine bellhousing (9).
Align mounting holes of pump assembly (5) and trailer (6),

Do not tighten nuts.

and lower lifting
Install four mounting bolts (4), flat washers (3), new lock washers (2). and
n u t s ( 1 ) .
Do not tighten nuts (1).
Make sure pump assembly (5) is level
as necessary to attain level.
Remove lifting device and sling from
Tighten nuts (1).

and aligned with engine.
Add shims (12)
pump assembly (5).
