Readjust balljoint.jam nut if necessary.Manually hold in full-fuelposition with fuel control tubecontrol lever, and turn downthe inner adjusting screw ofadjacent rack control leveruntil control rack moves intofull-fuel position. Turn downthe outer adjusting screw untilit bottoms lightly on the fuelcontrol tube. Alternatelytighten both the inner andouter adjusting screws to 24to 36 in. lb (2.7 to 41. Nm).Recheck rack to make surethat it has remained snug onend of the rack control leverwhile adjusting the adjacentrack. If the rack of the rearinjector has loosened, backoff inner adjusting screwslightly on adjacent rackcontrol lever, and tightenouter adjusting screw. Whensettings are correct, the racksof both injectors must besnug on the end of theirrespective control levers.Position remaining rackcontrol levers in the samemanner.5-44
