Rack controlIf rack control levers are worn or damaged, re-leversplace separately.ASSEMBLYCAUTIONEquipment damage may occur if fuel control tube assembly does not return to OFF position byaction of the return spring. Do not bend the spring. Replace spring, or loosen and shift theposition of the brackets. Tighten when binding is eliminated.9. Fuel controlInstall rack control levers on fuel control tube,tubewith levers facing the front bracket position.Turn adjusting screws into the slots in the fuelcontrol tube far enough to position the levers.10. Return springInstall return spring and front bracket on theand frontfuel control tube. Attach curled end of returnbracketspring to rack control lever and extended end ofthe spring behind the front bracket.5-41
