REMOVAL
1. Setscrew
Use a 5/32 inch hex key to loosen one setscrew
in each coupling half.
2. Coupling
Pull coupling half (1) from engine shaft. Remove
halves
and discard key (4). Pull coupling half (2) from
gear reducer shaft. Remove key (5) from gear
reducer shaft.
3. Spider
Separate spider (3) from coupling half.
INSPECTION
4. Coupling
Inspect coupling halves for cracks in metal. Re-
halves
place coupling if damaged.
5. Spider
Inspect for cracks or tears in rubber spider. Re-
place spider if damaged.
