7.
Pump primer plunger (Figure 2, Item 7) until a solid stream of fuel is present.
8.
Tighten air vent screw (Figure 2, Item 8).
9.
Pump primer plunger (Figure 2, Item 7) until firm.
10.
Start engine and allow to run. (TM 5-3825-270-10)
NOTE
If engine stalls, perform Steps (11) through (15).
11.
Loosen air vent screw (Figure 2, Item 8).
12.
Crank engine and observe air escaping from air vent screw (Figure 2, Item 8).
13.
Tighten air vent screw (Figure 2, Item 8).
14.
Pump primer plunger (Figure 2, Item 7) until firm.
15.
Start engine and allow to run. (TM 5-3825-270-10)
NOTE
If engine continues to stall, repeat Steps (11) through (15).
16.
Shut off engine (TM 5-3825-270-10) and check for fuel leaks.

Install rear access cover. (TM 5-3825-270-10)
