TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
ENGINE STARTS, BUT RUNS IRREGULARLY OR FAILS - MCS
SYMPTOM
Engine not operating properly.
MALFUNCTION
Air filter clogged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Perform air filter servicing (WP 0220).
a.
If air filter is dirty, service air filter (WP 0220).
b.
If air filter is not dirty, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Low fuel.
MALFUNCTION
Low fuel.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Inspect fuel level (Volume 1, WP 0051).
a.
If fuel level is at or below E, fill fuel tank to at least 1/4 full (Volume 1, WP 0051).
b.
If fuel tank level is 1/4 tank or more, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Fault alarm
present.
MALFUNCTION
Fault alarm present.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if fault alarms are present (WP 0171).
a.
If fault alarms are present, note what alarms are present and notify maintenance.
