TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START - MCS
SYMPTOM
Engine cranks but will not start.
MALFUNCTION
Low fuel.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Inspect fuel level (Volume 1, WP 0051).
a.
If fuel level is at or below E, fill fuel tank to at least 1/4 full (Volume 1, WP 0051).
b.
If fuel level is 1/4 tank or more, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Air filter clogged.
MALFUNCTION
Air filter clogged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Inspect air filter (WP 0220).
a.
If air filter needs servicing, service air filter (WP 0220).
b.
If air filter does not need servicing, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Fault alarm present.
MALFUNCTION
Fault alarm present.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Verify if fault alarms are present (WP 0171).
a.
If fault alarms are present, note what alarms are present and notify maintenance.
