Note which (if any) LEDs are illuminated.
a.
If Sys Error or any of the Input Error LEDs are illuminated, notify maintenance.
b.
If only Operation LED is illuminated, proceed to next MALFUNCTION - Crane works using
radio remote control backup cord.
c.
If Overload LED and/or Boost Overload LED is illuminated, refer to Truck-Mounted Crane
Operation (Volume 1, WP 0034) and verify if load is within specifications of crane load
capacities (Volume 1, WP 0004). If problem persists, notify maintenance.
MALFUNCTION
Crane works using radio remote control backup cord.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Attempt to operate crane using radio remote control backup cord (Volume 1, WP 0034).
a.
If crane operates properly using radio remote control backup cord, proceed to
MALFUNCTION - Remote control batteries low.
b.
If crane does not operate properly using radio remote control backup cord, proceed to
next MALFUNCTION - Hydraulic oil cold.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Hydraulic functions may be sluggish and/or not operate properly until fluid has
reached correct operating temperature.
1.
If not started, start engine (Volume 1, WP 0012) and engage P.T.O. (Volume 1, WP 0033).
2.
Run engine and wait to use hydraulic functions until hydraulic oil sight/temperature gauge reads
a minimum of 75F (24C) (Figure 4) (Volume 1, WP 0032).
