RAISING DERRICK - Continued
WARNING
Before raising or lowering derrick, clear all personnel and equipment from all areas
immediately to rear and sides of derrick. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
CAUTION
Ensure tophead is below arrow on derrick prior to raising or lowering derrick.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
Ensure breakout wrench is in outward position prior to raising or lowering derrick.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

If required, move breakout wrench (Figure 14, Item 4) to outward position.

Move DERRICK hoist control joystick (Figure 14, Item 2) up and raise derrick (Figure 14, Item 1) to upright
position.
4.
Set LOCK PINS switch (Figure 14, Item 5) down to EXTEND and extend two lock pins (Figure 14, Item 3) to
locked position.
