7. Tighten the 1-inch inside mounting bolts (figure 5, item 2).

REPLACE
To replace the drive belt, proceed as follows:
1. Remove throttle mounting plate (figure 6, item 1) with throttle attached (figure 6, item 2), by removing
two hex bolts (figure 6, item 3), nuts, flat and lock washers (figure 6, item 4). Retain hardware. Do
not disconnect throttle from engine. Move the disconnected throttle linkage out of the way during
replacement of vacuum pump.
