WARNING
Cylinder head assembly weighs 95 lbs. Do not attempt to lift or move without the aid of an
assistant and suitable lifting device. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment
and death or serious injury to personnel.

Attach suitable lifting device to cylinder head assembly (Figure 10, Item 28).

With the aid of an assistant and suitable lifting device, remove cylinder head assembly (Figure 10, Item 28)
from engine block (Figure 10, Item 32).
NOTE
Note position of cylinder head gasket prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
15.
Remove cylinder head gasket (Figure 11, Item 33) from engine block (Figure 11, Item 32). Discard cylinder
head gasket.
