ENGINE OIL SERVICING - MUD CLEANING SYSTEM (MCS)

Open catwalk, as required (Volume 1, WP 0049).
WARNING
Do not allow hot oil or components to touch your skin. Hot oil or components will burn your
skin. Wear heat-resistant gloves, goggles, and protective clothing when you work near hot
oil or components. If hot oil gets on your skin, seek medical aid immediately. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
CAUTION
Do not mix oils of the same type but different brands. Some oil mixtures are not compatible
and can result in the formation of varnishes, shellacs, or lacquers that can be insoluble.
Such deposits can clog the oil filter. Failure to comply can result in damage to equipment.
2.
Lift and turn door lock lever (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove access door (Figure 1, Item 2).
