ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM SERVICING - MUD CLEANING SYSTEM (MCS) - Continued
WARNING
Do not remove filler cap from a HOT engine radiator. Sudden release of hot engine coolant
and steam can cause serious burns and a loss of coolant. Make sure engine is cool and
engine cooling system is fully depressurized before removing radiator filler cap. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
3.
Remove radiator fill cap (Figure 1, Item 1) from radiator overflow container (Figure 1, Item 2).
4.
Add coolant as required to fill radiator overflow container (Figure 1, Item 2).
5.
Install radiator fill cap (Figure 1, Item 1) on radiator overflow container (Figure 1, Item 2).
6.
Clean any coolant spilled on radiator overflow container (Figure 1, Item 2) with cleaning cloth.
7.
Raise catwalk and steps, as required (Volume 1, WP 0055).
