HYDRAULIC OIL RESERVOIR SERVICING - WWDR

Open left-side catwalk (Volume 1, WP 0017).
WARNING
The Water Well Drilling System presents numerous falling hazards. Use care when
working on top of equipment. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
Do not open or disconnect hydraulic hoses or fittings while the hydraulic oil is hot
or under pressure. Hydraulic oil is flammable and harmful to the skin and eyes.
The hydraulic tanks and metal parts can be hot. Wear work gloves and eye
protection when handling hydraulic hoses, motors, and hydraulic parts. If hydraulic
oil contacts skin, wash the affected area immediately. In case of eye contact, flush
with water for 15 minutes. Dispose of hydraulic oil in accordance with standard
operating procedures. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
NOTE
WWDR hydraulic oil reservoir has two fill caps; either one may be used when
adding hydraulic oil.
Hydraulic oil level must be checked cold and with all cylinders retracted.
