CONNECTING PAC TO TOW VEHICLE - Continued
WARNING
Do not put hands near pintle hook while aligning, connecting, or disconnecting
trailer tongue or tow bar. Hands and fingers can be pinched or crushed. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the
event of an injury.
Always use additional personnel as a guide when connecting or disconnecting
trailer. Guide must not be positioned between tow vehicle and trailer. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the
event of an injury.
NOTE
Make sure lunette and pintle hook are properly aligned before engaging vehicles.

With the aid an assistant, slowly back tow vehicle (Figure 4, Item 4) until PAC lunette (Figure 4, Item 2) and
pintle hook (Figure 4, Item 1) align.
8.
Turn crank handle counterclockwise (Figure 5, Item 1) until drop-leg jack (Figure 5, Item 5) is off of ground.

Close pintle hook (Figure 5, Item 3) and install safety pin (Figure 5, Item 2).
