Loosen both levers (Figure 3, Items 6 and 7) on forward handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 8).
4.
Rotate forward handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 8) to vertical position and tighten two levers
(Figure 3, Items 6 and 7) to secure into position.
5.
Loosen lever (Figure 3, Item 4) on handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 1).
6.
Loosen lever (Figure 3, Item 5) on handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 8).
7.
Attach straps (Figure 4, Item 2) from both hand cranks (Figure 4, Item 3) to middle handrail
(Figure 4, Item 1) by wrapping strap around handrail and securing hook onto strap.

Slide front handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 8) up out of square tube (Figure 3, Item 9).

Slide rear handrail closeout (Figure 3, Item 1) up out of square tube (Figure 3, Item 10).

With aid of an assistant, rotate both hand cranks (Figure 4, Item 3) to raise handrail (Figure 4, Item 1).
