Push boom up/down toggle switch (Figure 8, Item 1) to down position to lower boom enough to reach
snatch block (Figure 8, Item 2).
5.
Hook snatch block (Figure 8, Item 2) to stow ring (Figure 8, Item 4).
6.
Push winch up/down toggle switch (Figure 8, Item 5) to up position to tighten slack in cable so snatch block
(Figure 8, Item 2) is within a few inches of main boom (Figure 8, Item 1).
CAUTION
Make sure to raise crane boom up to 30 degrees minimum before crane rotation to clear
exhaust pipe. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
7.
Push boom up/down toggle switch (Figure 8, Item 1) to up position to raise boom (Figure 8, Item 1).

Push rotate toggle switch (Figure 8, Item 2) clockwise or counterclockwise, as needed to rotate crane above
boom rest (Figure 8, Item 3).
9.
Push boom up/down toggle switch (Figure 8, Item 1) to down position to lower boom (Figure 8, Item 1) into
boom rest (Figure 8, Item 2).
