NOTE
RIG MODE/ROAD MODE switch is only used on WWDR.

For WWDR, set RIG MODE/ ROAD MODE switch (Figure 1, Item 3) down to ROAD MODE for driving.
WARNING
Before starting vehicle, check on and around vehicle for other personnel. Failure to comply
may result in serious injury or death to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an
injury.
CAUTION
Depressing the clutch pedal disengages the flywheel reducing transmission drag
and prevents vehicle movement. Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.
Always use clutch brake when shifting into 1st gear or reverse (R). Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Perform Step 6 up to seven times. If engine does not start after seven attempts, notify
maintenance.
6.
Turn engine ignition switch (Figure 1, Item 2) to start position and hold until engine starts or for a maximum
of 30 seconds.
7.
Release engine ignition switch (Figure 1, Item 2) to On or Run position immediately after engine starts.
8.
Slowly release clutch pedal (Figure 1, Item 1).
CAUTION
If engine oil pressure gauge does not indicate engine oil pressure within 10 to 15 seconds
after starting engine, immediately shut off engine and notify maintenance. Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Normal operating range is 40 to 70 psi (276 to 483 kPa) at 625 to 725 rpm.

Check engine oil pressure gauge (Figure 2, Item 7).
